Replica

March 7, 1989 was a historic day in Aberdeen, Washington. Lady Washington replica was launched after years of hard work. A group at Gray's Harbor wished to create replicas of Columbia Redivia and the Lady, although funds only ended up materializing for the smaller brig. She was constructed to provide a means to teach seamanship, educate about local history, and as a living advertisement for Gray's Harbor. GHHSA organized the volunteers, they also had master craftsmen and shipbuilders involved with the project.

She is a beautiful, absolutely elegant yet servicable brig - a must see and has been in several movies, including Star Trek : Generations and Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
